Equifax is seeking a motivated Application Developer (Liferay) with development and SDLC experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Actively participates in the daily development activities that impact important components / processes of the IT work function. _

What you'll do:

Installation and configuration of development and production environments.
Application design and development.
Custom portlet design and development.
Design and implementation of custom page layouts.
Database configuration.
Organization of users and pages across collection types.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Liferay portal.
Install and test patches provided by Liferay Support.
Troubleshoot and resolve Liferay portal programming bugs as reported by business and IT stakeholders in the JIRA issue tracking system.
Integrating Liferay Portal with different environments using Portlet or Webservices.

What experience you need:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience required
2 years of handson
Liferay (7.X+) development (themes and custom portlets) in a technical engineering role, that may include the following: developing layouts and themes in Liferay Portal, developing new web pages and modifying existing web pages, adding new web content and modifying existing web content, conduct Liferay administrative management and perform Liferay portal customization with custom portlets and APIs.
2 years of experience and knowledge of the
OSGi framework
2 years of experience
postgrad SQL with the ability to write SQL queries
English proficiency B2 or above
