- Engage with external partners and internal Intel teams to understand the use case for new technologies and opportunities for Intel.
- Evaluate new Intel technologies, create proof of concepts, and present findings to our partners and Intel architects.
- Use performance methodologies to improve Intel's hardware and optimize the software stack to ensure best performance on Intel architecture.

- Bachelor's in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering or relevant field with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering or a relevant field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience in computer architecture fundamentals, software development, software optimization and debugging, and candidate must have permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
- Advanced English level.
- Experience with performance tools and methodologies.
- Expertise in server operating systems and concepts.
- Multithreaded programming patterns and libraries knowledge.
- Experience with performance tools like Emon, Xperf, Vtune.
- Deep technical subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas is critical:
- Data center and cloud management systems.
- Expert in C/C++ programming and code optimization.

Job Summary
The Intel Software and Advanced Technology Group's Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) is seeking a highly skilled Software Performance Optimization Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative, high-quality software solutions that differentiate Intel products and maximize customer value.
About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with Intel's key partners to deliver optimized solutions for client, enterprise, and cloud customers. You will be responsible for evaluating new Intel technologies, creating proof of concepts, and presenting findings to our partners and Intel architects. You will also use performance methodologies to improve Intel's hardware and optimize the software stack to ensure best performance on Intel architecture.
