Job Description:


As a Client Services Principal Architect, you'll help a team of Technical Account Managers to design, support and deliver an outstanding experience for both internal and external clients by providing architectural and functional expertise on our current and future platform products, monitoring, automation, tools and implementation strategies.

You'll be an inspirational reference with client facing experience and deep architecture knowledge to ensure best in class implementation for complex projects.

Primary responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales Engineers, Business Analysts, and Technical Account Managers to lead technical solutions and architecture design for large/complex implementations
  • Drive solution vision & strategy building frameworks that can improve our ability to implement, support, and maintain our platform products
  • Provide technical leadership, influence, guidance, and partner with your team to bring them to the next level from a technology standpoint
  • Partner effectively with crossorg engineering groups and various functions to represent your team and Experian Partner Solutions
  • Build a strong engineering brand for EPS and be able to attract, retain and train topnotch talent
  • Anticipate positive and negative impacts throughout the organization regarding proposed solutions
  • Identify opportunities to expand product capabilities and client implementation improvements
  • Identify use cases not yet covered by our current platform, and work with business analysts and product owners to evaluate implementation and adoption
  • Broker and arbitrate discussions between the customer and Experian, and in all appropriate ways represent the client's technical needs to Experian, and Experian's offerings to the client
  • Help ensure that both client and platform solutions have solid observability and monitoring capabilities that will help drive resolution to issues as required
  • Communicate a holistic change management schedule that includes patching, infrastructure, and solution upgrades

Qualifications:


  • BS, BA in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS or relevant technology degree (Master's level a plus) or 8+ years of relevant experience in technical customer support, operations, or similar role
  • Client facing experience, ability to translate technical terms to any audience
  • Handson engineering experience with strong knowledge in one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C#, Java Script, PHP
  • Strong SQL knowledge and ability to query, combine and extract data from Redshift, Mysql, Dynamo
  • Familiar with ETL and batch processing techniques
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services supporting both JSON and XML
  • Experience with realtime system monitoring and reporting via technology tools such as Splunk,
  • AppDynamics, DataDog, and/or Business Intelligence systems such as Cognos, Business Objects, and Tableau
  • Experience with automation frameworks/infrastructure and data analytic tools like Airtable, Workato, etc
  • Experience with Platform as a Service. Ability to think analytically and consider all client configurations, as well as dive into the details, and know when to operate at each of those levels
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills; able to break complex technical hurdles into measurable actions.
  • Familiar with Amazon Web Services including high level hosting architecture and microservices
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams in parallel execution against aggressive business goals and engineering priorities
  • Proven track record of growing and mentoring accomplished individual contributors
  • Proven experience partnering across functions and organizational boundaries to effectively advocate for team, business, and company priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have the ability and desire to work in a highpressure, fastpaced environment and be able to handle several projects and tasks simultaneously
