- Develop and maintain accurate RAID logs for each project within the program and the program itself.
- Report project risks to the program risk level for visibility to senior management to act on significant impacts on agreed program delivery parameters.
- Effectively communicate and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Provide regular reports on project and program performance and overall health to senior leadership and program sponsors.
- Manage related risks in operational areas and provide Senior Executive status reporting on programs and project risk for senior governance forums.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements within program scope and escalate issues quickly.
- Ensure project leads understand the importance of adhering to regulatory obligations and responsibility for implementing company policies and procedures.
- Support and facilitate reviews and gap analysis of compliance with all relevant Risk Policies and Standards within the program.
- Provide thought leadership on control design and testing within the program, bringing in industry best practices and recognized external frameworks.
- Design and maintain the controls testing operating model to support the program, taking into account resourcing, reporting lines, and organizational structure.
- Deliver efficient testing, taking a risk-based approach and leveraging a range of testing techniques.
- Education to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent professional qualification.
- Continued professional development to a high level.
- Good understanding and application of Program and Project Management competencies, including stakeholder management, contracts, scope, schedule, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration.
- Good understanding of Financial and Operational Risk Management, including policies and standards, and assessment within a regulated environment.
- Experience working in a Technology team and broad knowledge of Technologies and Security concepts is desirable.
- Experience working within a 1st line operational risk function (2nd line risk experience also desirable).
- Good understanding and application of change management competencies.
- Ability to manage relationships while maintaining trusted relationships with team and peers.
- Ability to influence and build productive relationships with key program stakeholders (both internal and external).
- Good knowledge of project management methodology and tools, including software.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
