WW Cloud & GMS Business Intelligence and Advisory Lead

This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.
Our new innovative IT services organization is HPE Pointnext. We have the expertise to advise, integrate, and accelerate our customers' outcomes from their digital transformation.


Responsible for the overall Services Strategic Offering launch, deployment and enablement (e2e Services deployment Planning) for the GMS and aaS/Cloud Services offerings; working in direct collaboration with Global, Geo and country Sales teams, across multiple geographies, portfolio team, and go-to-market teams.

The role will involve working closely with cross-functional team and functions to define, develop and deploy strategies to simplify, automate, and grow the Services offerings at the Cloud Services Platform.


Work to define strategies and growth initiatives that will be aligned with company & sales strategies and priorities, providing services expertise and advisory to other functions.

In addition, this role is responsible to provide the KPIs to measure success on specific portfolio offerings and helping Global Sales to consolidate recommendations on gap plans, GTM model, LTP Plan and growth initiatives.


Have a clear understanding of the Cloud Services support business, proven record of success enablement of the Services Cloud offerings and agility to understand the Pointnext Services offerings, processes, and tools in order to be able to provide relevant insights to support an innovative, agile and effective customer experience.


This role will include working closely with the Services Portfolio team to define the overall strategy for the Cloud Services Platform and new offerings additive services and provides insights for planning and GTM structure definition.


Responsibilities:


  • Provides Services expertise for Cloud/aaS Services offerings to WW/Geo/Country functions
  • Ensures customer view/needs first and measure success on retaining & growing customer share of wallet
  • Uses datadriven insights to provide advisory and recommend growth initiatives to accelerate profitability on overall Services business
  • Liaison with GL GTM teams
  • Liaison with Cloud Services Platform teams
  • Drive increase on customer persona registration and connectivity to accelerate migration from Core to aaS
  • Provide requirements and Geo/WW sales requirements to Cloud Services Platform teams
  • Manage the detailed planning of awareness and MoC for the Digital Services & automation
  • Supports Sales & GBUs on the LTP process which defines SBIA specific plans based on budget planning for GMS (GreenLake Managed Services) and Cloud Solutions (aaS consumption model services)
  • Owns SBIA Services Business plan for both RTMs across all sales motions
  • Working with Portfolio, enables NPI/ NSI/ EOSL Globally. Leverages and develops NPI/ NSI/EOSL materials for successful awareness across all RTMs/, segments and sales motions.
  • Develop and manage simplification, efficiencies, automation, and deliver training & enablement for SBIA area including services processes, tools, data sources, reporting for WW/Geo functions
  • Ensures sales readiness across Geos through SBIA Plan (Marketing to support execution where needed)
  • Drive existing and new SBIA roadmaps with Geo's
  • Creates & maintains content and collateral specific to SBIA area
  • Develop and execute Programs to simplify upsell & accelerate key categories
  • Provides business insight to promote and drive opportunities and creates tools, materials & processes to address them
  • Identify Cross Sell and upsell Opportunities
  • Provide competitive analysis and action plan for each SBIA
  • Has In depth knowledge about the offer E2E. Links with portfolio/channel/ delivery/ GO teams
  • Provides feedback on future service needs to portfolio team based on feedback from GEO/WW sales & crossfunctions teams and data analysis
  • Drives outside in view, leads key business initiatives to drive Services order growth
  • Spotlights key wins and opportunities, creates success cases and specific guide by Industry segment

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Excellent program management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
  • Excellent analytical thinker, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills
  • Expertise accessing various data bases for reporting
  • Experience connecting with all reporting and analytics teams to utilize existing reports
  • Experience connecting with the Geos to understand local reporting capabilities & requirements
  • Knowledge to turn available data into information that can drive action
  • Visualize and prepare data/information and make it ready for senior executive consumption
  • Refresh existing visuals and further develops them, building scorecards and reports
  • Maintains and advances defined reporting on an ongoing basis
  • Supports slide deck creation for executive reviews
  • Ability to synthesize and frame
