Floor Plan Services CAD Specialist - What You'll Do:
The Floor Plan Services CAD Specialist is in charge of cleaning, drafting, and preparing floor plans in
AutoCAD and Illustrator to be uploaded into the OfficeSpace Software platform using files coming in
a variety of formats. This person reports to the Floor Plan Services Team Lead and is in charge of the
conversion and preparation of floor plans to match the quality of the software created for our
clients as well as their expectations.

• Interpretation of floor plans, drawings, or sketches in any format.
• Cleaning and preparation of client's floor plans and polylined spaces in AutoCAD and

Illustrator.

• Modify floor plans if necessary to incorporate exact measurements and architectural details

required to match the client's expectations and OfficeSpace requirements.

• Create, draw and position client seats, offices, and spaces on top of their floor plan layout

within the platform.

• Report any noticeable errors during setup to Team Lead for review and resolution.
• All other tasks required by OfficeSpace as it relates to the scope of the Floor Plan Services

department.


The Skills, Experience, and Mindset Required:

• Great at reading and interpreting floor plans in any format
• Experience in AutoCAD/ AutoCAD Map 3D
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator
• Skilled in verbal and written communication
• Able to receive input and feedback from managers and peers
• High standard of quality and attention to detail in the completion of assigned tasks
• Ability to quickly change priorities of their assigned tasks in accordance with the strategy of the department
• Adaptability, initiative, and problemsolving skills.
