Job Description:

The Business Systems Analyst will be part of the Cloudera IT Business Applications group. The primary responsibilities of the analyst will be to manage day to day administration and participate/lead initiatives related to Cloudera’s Cloud Billing operations within applications such as Zuora, NetSuite, Salesforce and related cross functional systems. The analyst will work closely with cross functional teams that include include Engineering, Product management, Support, Portal, IT, Finance and Sales ops in the deployment of new public cloud services to enable billing and metering


  • Provide end user support for Cloud billing applications and related integrations with Salesforce and NetSuite
  • Work with business users in identifying/documenting gaps within current processes and design/develop to-be solutions to automate/optimize processes
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining public cloud service instances within Cloud applications to enable billing and metering
  • Participate in periodic discussions with Engineering and Pricing teams on new cloud service introductions
  • Work closely with Engineering team members to resolve month-end metering issues related to public cloud usage
  • Partner with the accounting team in bringing efficiencies to their monthly close process and improve upon existing system reporting needs
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle including design, development, system and user acceptance testing through production rollout
  • Ensure procedures, processes and proper change controls are adhered to on all production changes and implementations
  • Support internal and external SOX audits. Adhere to all SOX System change management policies and processes. Maintain adequate documentation to support month-end and year-end system audits
  • Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in systems analyst or developer roles supporting cloud billing applications
  • Experience working with CRM and ERP applications such as NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce
  • Experience working directly with finance users in gathering requirements and developing solutions
  • Exposure to process and project management methodologies, tools and processes
  • Hands-on SQL experience and knowledge of database, data and systems design is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience working with application APIs to develop integrations with Cloud billing solutions
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities with competing priorities
