Fullstack Developer

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to design, develop and deploy software solutions. As a full stack software engineer, responsibilities include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various languages including C# .NET. You will also develop innovative technologies that are changing the Alternative Asset Management industry. Your team will tackle a variety of problems ranging from optimizing data retrieval performance to scaling out infrastructure or bringing complex systems together. You will devise elegant solutions to important business and technical problems, and put your own best ideas to work in an entrepreneurial environment.

Our ideal candidates:

  • Are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment
  • Are eager to identify areas of improvement in the existent systems and feel empowered to proposed and implement creative solutions
  • Feel comfortable programming in different languages and IDE’s
  • Have experience understanding and analyzing business logic for different domains
  • Are familiar with the software principles as SOLID, GRASP, etc.
  • Have Strong object-oriented programming experience in any language
  • Have the desire to learn and adapt to new technologies

  • Have ability to drive projects from inception to completion
  • Are driven to teach, coach, and mentor others

    • Responsibilities :

  • Engage and learn about complex business rules related to financial areas as: Capital Markets, Hedge Funds and Asset Management
  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Interact dynamically with BA's, QA's and other leads to clarify business requirements.
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Design software solutions that efficiently fit in a existent application ecosystem
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Write well-designed, scalable, and testable code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
  • Improve processes through tools implementation/construction to automate repetitive tasks
  • Lead technical design and code reviews to drive projects towards the best results
  • Troubleshoot code defects and deploy timely fixes for more complex codes.
  • Challenge, implement, and develop best practices
  • Collaborate with the local Blackstone Unit and local BAAM team initiatives

    • Skills Required:

  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • Demonstrable work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
  • L3(4+ years)
  • Design Patterns (Factory, Strategy, Pattern, Singleton, Dependency Injection, Inversion of Control, Façade)
  • Threading
  • C# .net core
  • Web API / Rest API
  • Entity Framework
  • Object Oriented Programming Principles
  • C# (delegates, reflection, linq, events, interfaces, generics, collections)
  • SQL
  • Experience developing web applications using the main popular web framework (AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge on distributed environments (micro services, AWS, identity server, dockers)
  • AWS, Dockers, Microservices are a plus
  • Data Tier experience
  • Cloud Infrastructure experience
