3M is seeking a Product Costing Analyst for the Master Data Management Global Service Center. This position will be located in Belen, Heredia as part of our Global Service Center in Costa Rica. Job summary: This position is responsible for execute on the transactional Legacy and SAP processes that generate Product costing and liaising with relevant parties to ensure Product costs are only released when accurate. Candidate must be detailed oriented and enjoys working with operational processes, collaborative team player, analytical, proactive and problem solver Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Running the Legacy Product Costing process for items identified as ready to cost: For Finished Goods, review new cost vs previous cost and where material difference, contact person (buyer/sourcing) who input the various costing elements to verify input & see if corrections needed. Release costs that are ok to be released per timetable. For Manufactured items, send out the costing results to Manufacturing to ensure they are accurate & action their feedback by either releasing the cost or rerunning the costing. Internal 3M communication with issues or questions from Local Finance related to costing. Trains/Mentor new or existing Product Costing Analysts to resolve issues and build team member competencies. Responsible for driving governance, process, and/or systems improvements; Responsible for ensuring team metrics are sustained and taking corrective actions if quality or service issues arise. Provides Business Coordination (urgent/special requests coordination) Qualifications/Requirements: Intermediate/ Advanced English proficiency (written and oral) Finance, Accounting, Administration or related field student 1 year of equivalent work experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Costing and/or IT. Detailed orientation Collaborative Team player Analytical Intermediate/ Advanced Excel skills. Open to flexible schedules Follow 3M Policies Preferred Qualifications: Preferred experience working within Service Center environment with direct experience in data quality, master data management and/or data governance or familiarity working with Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain processes and data, manufacturing or materials management Highly client service and quality oriented mindset Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload Excellent communication skills Team oriented person who can focus on the details.
