About the role -MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Develop required maintenance actions in order for the operative and productive condition of equipment used in the production process is optimal at all times, becoming directly responsible for the non-productive time due to productive equipment malfunctioning. You're Responsabilities include -Primary Responsibilities Position Authorities -The main role of the position is to execute daily technician's coordination. -Capable to review, interpret and perform diagnosis of complex failures of the machines from the machine schematics or diagrams Electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings for example -Oversee proper functioning and optimum appearance of production equipment. -Execute preventive maintenance necessary for the equipment to be always in proper operative condition and in a timely manner. -Perform corrective maintenance in a timely manner. -Provide technical support to area operators. -Follow established Quality System procedures, including but not limited to Training, Regulatory Audits, Maintenance Activities Documentation, etc. -Follow instructions and procedures established in order to perform maintenance. -Use and encourage the use of necessary safety equipment. -Follow up on documentation of non-productive hours due to equipment malfunctioning. -Provide support to the continuous improvement process of Maintenance procedures. -Apply Root Cause Analysis to non-productive hours due to equipment malfunctioning and proper documentation that supports the continuous improvement process. -Support Engineering activities related to product process transfers between BSCI facilities. -Additional Responsibilites -Provide support on aspects related to the installation, validation and operation of equipment and or productive processes. -Oversee the physical condition of equipment paint, nuts and bolts, etc. . -Assure correct use of area equipment by operators. -Generate lists of critical parts necessary for each team. -Promote and or support waste or parts reduction initiatives in order to optimize their use. -Pursue and or engage in potential improvements or changes to enhance equipment use. -Oversee the good use and condition of tools, as well as the use of equipment. -Keep work areas, as well as the workshop, organized and cleaned at all times. What we're looking for -2 years' experience -Technical degree in Electromechanical, Electrical or 50 of applicable college degree related -Technical Skills Required Pneumatics, Hydraulics -Soft Skills Required Execution, Custumer Focus, Quality Oriented, Communication, Innovation, Collaboration -Technical Competencies Desired Equipment Maintenance, Problem Solving Methodologies ex Six Sigma , Lean Tools 5S, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
