What You Will Achieve

The Business Operations Lead will work across a broad, multi-disciplinary group of local and global leaders to coordinate and facilitate strategies that enable GBS to continue to be an amazing workplace for all and a Trusted Partner for our business partners.

This role will be responsible for activities in the Global Order to Cash (O2C) tower and the Costa Rica hub that lead our GBS Make it Possible strategy, business partner governance, training and development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion activities.

Additionally, this role will be a key member of the Change Management Office and be responsible and accountable for activities required for planned and in-flight global O2C and GBS San Jose hub initiatives.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Facilitate the creation and implementation of Global O2C and Costa Rica Hub “Objective and Key Results” (OKR) workshops with leadership teams
  • Oversee the implementation of Make it Possible activities including social responsibility, onboarding of new colleagues, education program, front line leaders’ forums, the colleague rotational program, and Voice of the Colleague roundtables.
  • Build and lead the delivery of training activities across the global O2C organization and GBS Costa Rica site
  • Proactively monitor cross-functional and enterprise wide initiatives that impact people, processes and technology to ensure alignment, maintain agility and mitigate disruption to the Costa Rica site and global O2C organization
  • Develop and lead the global O2C governance model including execution of leader forums, operational reviews, and process tower specific initiatives
  • Lead and govern stakeholder engagement activities including but not limited to Business Partner Board commitments, partnership site visits, workshops and summits and driving engagement and awareness across the site and stakeholder groups of the GBS value proposition
  • Oversee the implementation of the Dynamic Engagement Tool and ongoing maintenance
  • Coordinate, plan, and execute all visits from executives (content and logistics)

  • BS Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Public Relations, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical working experience in large, complex organizations
  • Management of multiple client stakeholders
  • High degree of achievement drive with focus on achieving organizational alignment
  • Ability to shape strategic discussions and develop executable plans with business leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to structure problems, analyze data and convert to actionable insights
  • Demonstrated commitment to education and professional development.
  • Strong organizational skills required to coordinate and manage multiple cross divisional work process and projects.
  • Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty.

  • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
