Reporting to the Director of Strategy, Planning and Business Operations within the Revenue Lifecycle Management organization, the Business Practice Standardization Manager is responsible for developing, managing and evolving globally aligned business practices (people, process, technology) and implementing these business practices within a defined geo to drive business agility, cost and resource efficiencies and organization-wide scalability.
You will be required to act in a self-directed manner to influence and drive work activities within cross functional teams. Creative problem solving, proactive issues resolution and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment are critical requirements of this role. Your success will depend on your ability to think globally while executing locally, building of strong cross-functional relationships and leading complex projects to deliver against time-critical deadlines.
Own the development and evolution of the Business Process Standardization (BPS) approach, driving discipline, rigor and accountability to ensure controlled execution, business practice transformation and business impacts measurability
Transform the organization’s current geo-owned and executed business practices into a globally aligned environment, by adopting the Business Practice Standardization (BPS) approach
Increase the organization’s business practices efficiencies to eliminate existing local business challenges, through the global alignment of existing geo-specific roles/responsibilities, processes and tools/systems/platforms utilization
Drive scale and resource/cost efficiencies for new business opportunities developments, by utilizing the organization’s and stakeholders’ pool of knowledge/experiences/skillsets, avoiding duplicative activities across geos and teams
Promote agility to reduce project/program development and launch cycle times, through the consolidation of geo-specific, siloed and locally managed key initiatives into globally focused programs, enabling faster, better decision making
Enable the organization to measure its businesses performances across a common set of criteria, both from a global perspective and comping like-for-like performance KPIs across geo teams
Work directly with cross functional teams and individuals in the execution of appropriate activities
Provide regular reporting to the organization’s leadership team and key stakeholders regarding initiatives progress status and business impacts
Direct experience working within the organization’s renewals business environment
Extensive hands-on knowledge of the organization’s various sales operations support mechanisms
4+ years expert knowledge of business programs management (business plan development, implementation and ongoing scale/evolution activities management)
4+ years of project management experience
Ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and diverse, cross-functional teams/organizations to develop appropriate requirements, scope and delivery timeframes
High degree of self-imposed accountability and integrity
Ability to deliver high-quality time-sensitive complex projects in a structured, disciplined and cross-functional manner
High energy leader, detail-oriented and results-driven self-starter with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, navigating through ambiguity while balancing multiple priorities
Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to operate in both strategic and tactical environments, accommodating global-level needs and local geo execution nuances
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, skilled in developing and presenting business plans to all stakeholder profiles
