The Opportunity

Adobe's Lightroom organization is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join its cloud engineering team. You will join a diverse group of software developers that service a global customer base of passionate photographers. Our customers vary in experience and skill but are connected by their desire to make and share beautiful photos and videos. You will have the opportunity to ensure that our customers' valued images are safe and secure.
What you'll do

  • Collaborate with product leaders and central security teams to execute security initiatives
  • Drive our security strategy to continuously improve our security posture
  • Mentor engineers to build security into everyday development practices
  • Lead independent security tests to proactively find security holes
  • Rapidly respond to security alerts and drive peer teams to fix risks
  • Build security tooling to automate monitoring and patching production software
  • Be a hands-on coder
  • What you need to succeed

  • Passion for security engineering and resilient systems with impact on a global scale
  • BS/MS degree in computer science, information technology, information security, or similar
  • Proficiency with a programming language (i.e. Ruby, Python, Go)
  • Experience developing software on a public cloud environment (AWS,Azure,GCP)
  • Familiarity with network topologies, scanning tools, and cloud service vulnerabilities
  • Be a constant learner and engaged with the latest findings in cloud security
  • An affinity to execute multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • A preference for proactive communication across a matrixed organization
