We are looking for a highly motivated, results orientated Senior Analyst to join the Global Deal Response organization. As a strategic member of the Deal Response team, this individual will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end management of Request for Proposal (RFP) and other pre-sales documents to help our sales teams close new business through crafting compelling proposals. The right person for this job has a team player approach with the ability to work cross-functional business partners, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is detail oriented and able to handle competing deadlines. We are looking to create high caliber proposal writers to increase our win rates on new opportunities and to help create repeatable content.
Responsible for the development of RFP/RFI responses, bids, or other customer documents
Partner with field sales organization to drive response requirements, including being one-touch resource for field sales; responsible for liaising with all organizations involved in the agreement process (finance, legal, order management, etc.) on behalf of sales.
Personally serves as a trusted advisor to field sales on proposals
Work with cross-functional stakeholders for proposals, bids, quotations, or other documents solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to generate accurate and consistent documents that will help to win deals
Ensure required approvals, such as pricing, discounts and contractual terms, are obtained and clearly documented
Be a sales advocate and partner with internal organizations to understand contract requirements, structure, business terms and identification of potential risks and/or opportunities that can affect performance, growth and strategic positioning
Responsible for adherence to and compliance with both internal and external policy and procedures
Track the progress of RFPs and track win/loss metrics of completed responses
Evaluate current processes and offer recommendations for areas of improvement
Complete ad-hoc projects as required
3-5 years’ experience managing and authoring RFP responses and prospective proposals
At least 1 year of experience using Upland Qvidian’s proposal automation software is strongly preferred
Experience working for a technology company is highly preferred
Intermediate knowledge of standard IT contractual terms and conditions
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units
Ability to work independently in fast paced environment
Well organized with a very high attention to detail and accuracy with data.
Intermediate/advanced MS Office and Google Suite skills are highly recommended
Experience supporting global accounts, especially EMEA and APAC/Japan is highly desired
Bachelor Degree required or equivalent experience
