The Security Engineer position will be part of a group of Information Systems Security Directory Services professionals with a focus on Microsoft directories, directory synchronizations, directory mergers, and security. We participate in driving Enterprise Security projects to completion for various internal Adobe services. We work with the other specialists, architects, security teams, and software engineer teams across Adobe and collectively provide guidance, and strategies that protect the environment and enforce various government regulations. We interact with business customers, management teams, infrastructure teams, development teams, project managers and other security teams to help implement the vision, structure, standards and plan for solutions that support this architecture.
Primary Responsibilities May Include, but Are Not Limited To:
We help architect, build, support, maintain, and enhance the access and authorization aspects of an isolated business infrastructure.
We administer several components of this infrastructure such as directory services, directory synchronization, user and application account management, privileged identity management, MFA tools, etc.
We engage with business units across Adobe researching, guiding and enabling improvements in their security posture and service architecture, including assistance in the review and implementation of suggested improvements as required
We develop automation scripts/workflows for various security systems and alerting
We document security initiatives, impacts to the business, workflows, and technology uses across the various security projects and services
We are a team of Security Engineers that handle incoming requests, respond to issues, solve reported problems, and develop solutions.
We meet with teams to get security requirements, understand workflows, and devise solutions.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering related field or a Minimum of 5 years in an IT or IT Security position
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD) and Azure AD Administration and managing multiple Azure AD tenants
Familiarity with Azure AD related services, capabilities, and integrations (e.g. Azure AD Graph API, Conditional Access Policies, Azure PIM, etc.)
Knowledge of Access, Authentication, and Authorization mechanisms (including OIDC, SAML, MFA, IDP Synchronization, etc.)
An understanding of PKI infrastructure and hardware based authentication (e.g. smart cards, Yubikey, etc.)
Experience with Cloud Based computing and architecture
Working knowledge of server operating systems such as Windows and Linux
Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell, etc.)
Excellent work standards and highly motivated, including exceptional oral and written communication skills (interpersonal and client-facing) direct towards all levels of an organization, including the creation of security reports based on findings
Proficiency in detailing Use Cases, Requirements, Test Cases, and Workflow Diagrams in a technical environment
Experience in effectively leading projects
Able to work independently and also as a team member
Knowledge of various privacy and security regulations such as FedRAMP, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
Information Security Relevant certificates: CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.
Experience with programming or scripting languages
Experience with dashboarding and log correlation engines such as Grafana, Telegraph, Splunk, etc.
