The Challenge

The Adobe DX Technology Partner Team is seeking a Business Development leader to cultivate and grow our community of technology and Independent Software Provider Partners that work with Adobe in the Commerce ecosystem. You will be essential in developing and executing the product and GTM strategy around these partners — they are an integral part of Adobe’s Digital Experience strategy to become the backbone for all commerce!

This position is an individual contributor role that uses supporting resources from the larger Partner Ecosystem organization inside the Adobe Digital Experience Business unit. Business Development Manager will work closely with Partner Operations, Partner Management, Sales and Channels, Commercial Enablement, Services and Product Management teams.

What We Do

We execute and deliver against a partner portfolio strategy for specific commerce categories that optimize and integrate with Adobe’s solution and market coverage.

We evangelize, communicate and support this strategy to the broader partner team that will assist with execution of our plan.

We recruit, develop, nurture, and expand new and existing key partner relationships.

We build and execute against account plans, tactics and activities that enable partner and Adobe success.

We set and measure against Partner program features, benefits, requirements, metrics, key-performance-indicators, and quotas

The ideal candidate will work efficiently and effectively across multiple teams and levels within the organization. This is a hands-on role that combines both strategy and execution, so candidates should be able to build strong, data-backed business cases and then directly lead the implementation of those plans.

What you will need to succeed

  • Sales or account management experience within commerce or other relevant digital transformation solutions
  • Knowledge and experience of the commerce ecosystem of providers: technologies, consultancies, agencies, system integrators
  • Good communication and presentation skills of business solutions to senior leaders and partners
  • Some experience of in the following industry sectors: retail, media/entertainment and/or computer/product manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Magento and its competition
