The Sr Manager, Partner Operations combines strong business acumen with operational rigor to become a key business partner and trusted advisor to our MAPBU Partner Organization. The ideal candidate possesses a broad understanding of channel and business operations and can communicate effectively with leadership and senior executives across multiple functions.
Directly reporting into Sr. Director, MAPBU Strategy & Operations.
Responsibilities: Represent Tanzu Partner ecosystem interests in internal business transformation projects/activities Define, own and drive metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) as it relates to the Tanzu Partner Ecosystem Deliver accurate and timely partner bookings analytics and key highlights across the Tanzu Partner team and broader Tanzu Sales Leadership Team Refine and drive Tanzu Partner bookings reporting process partnering with Finance, Operations and Sales teams Develop and own the evolution and ongoing processes to effectively forecast Tanzu Partner bookings performance Conduct ad-hoc, deep-dive analysis to uncover opportunities for growth and optimization within our partnerships. Deliver clear Partner Operation business dashboard views reporting to executive, business and operational teams Lead continuous improvement by leveraging insights to continue to evolve and update the Business Collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners, including product, sales, marketing, finance and legal in order to drive initiatives forward
Requirements: 6+ years of experience as leader of Operations, or Partner, Sales, Go-To-Market Operations role in IT industry Experience with Partner SaaS business or Services would be a plus Works effectively in complex and matrixed organizations. Able to see the big picture while also being hands-on and in the details. Always focused on doing what's right for the business. High energy and contagious enthusiasm. Willing to take on the tough projects and challenges to support growth of the business. Ability to be highly productive with minimal oversight from senior management. Takes responsibility and accountability for actions and outcomes. Possesses strong business acumen, strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong listening skills and an ability to speak in front of senior audiences as well as write clearly, concisely, and compellingly. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and provide practical business insights from complex data sets.
