The challenge

Are you interested in the chance to work on a professional creative software product that touches millions of customers across the world? If so, the Photoshop team is looking for a passionate senior C++ developer to join us in crafting the future of Photoshop. You will be working within a fast-paced, agile environment, partnering closely with fellow developers, quality engineers, designers, and product managers. Your role as a developer will play a key part in helping modernize this world-class product and delivering an incredible user experience. We are looking for someone who holds high standards and is technical, driven, and creative, and who with their clear communication skills, resourcefulness, and collaborative approach can work optimally across the team to bring Photoshop to life on multiple platforms.

    • What you will do

    Deliver high quality, robust features

  • Be a critical member of an Agile development environment on one of the Photoshop feature teams
  • Work closely with Quality Engineers, Product Management, User Experience Designers to deliver "Adobe magic"
  • Write automation tests to fully test your code
  • Code review your peers work in a thoughtful constructive manner

    • What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Master's Degree preferred)
  • A very strong background in C++and programming fundamentals
  • Expertise in writing robust and fully asynchronous code
  • Experience with modern C/C++
  • Advanced level development skills in C/C++
  • Experience with SIMD (SSE/AVX and/or NEON)
  • Experience with HTML/JavaScript/CSS
  • Solid understanding of Photoshop and other Adobe imaging products
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Able to communicate technical details clearly to all levels of the organization
  • Graphics and/or image-processing experience (e.g. Metal)
