General Summary

The Content Marketing Manager will focus on increasing brand awareness and web traffic through the marketing of engaging content both online and offline. They are responsible for creating "shareable" content, distributing and promoting it in consumable formats, on the appropriate platforms and ultimately measuring performance.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Create content our target audiences are looking for and optimize the path to conversion, with the help of the Marketing Program Manager
• Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive awareness, web traffic, engagement, leads, and sales pipeline
• Manages editorial calendars, and best practices for the development of popular web asset formats like videos, web articles, eBooks, video assets, webinars, blog posts, etc.
• Collaborates cross functionally across teams, with subject matter experts, to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost
• Editorial requirements include copy writing, content categorization and structure, content development, basic understanding of SEO, distribution, and measurement.
• Govern and maintain consistency with our brand voice, style, and tone
• Measurement and optimization of the program on a regular and ongoing basis
• Management of all creative resources needed to fulfill editorial calendar requirements
• Integration of content programs with demand generation campaigns to drive lead funnel

Requirements
• BA/BS or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years experience copy writing
• 4+ creating content for the web and growing a social audience and community
• 4+ years experience copy editing and proofing
• 3+ years experience with Wordpress (or similar CMS), Adobe CS and the top social channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter
• Time management and project management skills with an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
• Hyper focused mindset on the delivery of results via engagement, leads and sales funnel
• Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
• Data-driven and highly analytical with the ability to analyze and present content and social performance
