General Summary:

This position is part of a regional team of Roaming Agreement Specialists responsible for successfully supporting the roaming business of Syniverse customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•Roaming data analysis for customers, including:
oIdentification of roaming trends through RAP reporting (i.e. reject files) trending analysis includes evaluating top reject codes, reject amounts and Roaming Partners to determine recommendations to correct and prevent repetitive roaming issues
oMonitor and analyze stopped files
oMonitor and analyze voice, data, and SMS volumes to identify top 20 Roaming Partners
oWork jointly with vendors to ensure they are operating in alignment with agreed upon terms
oCoordinate with internal and external teams to assist with roaming quality issues
oCoordinate industry notifications for updated AA.14, IR.21, IOT and other relevant industry roaming documents
oLiaise with the customer internal teams to assist with issues related to roaming fraud
oMonthly reconciliation of TAP/RAP files between the Customer billing system and the customer’s clearing house to validate the number of files and amount processed and rejected. Reconciliation includes both TAP/RAP files sent and received to the customer billing system
•TAP/RAP file processing services, including:
oInvestigation of RAP files to accept and dispute issues
oCommunication with billing vendors and the Customer’s Clearing House and Roaming Partners on the Customer’s behalf
oIdentification of systemic issues with roaming partners or vendor that cause RAP files
oEnsuring roaming partners are sending CDRs in accordance with commercial agreements
•Subscriber roaming experience improvement services, including:
oProactive investigation and troubleshooting of roaming issues
oDelivery of recommendations to improve subscriber experience with Customer’s top twenty (20) roaming partners
oMonitor and analyze the subscriber experience for high usage subscribers
•Roaming partner analytics, including:
oDeliver additional roaming partner recommendations
oProvide process improvement services, including delivery of recommendations on ways to streamline roaming, clearing and revenue processes
oProvide recommendations on Roaming partners to focus on that may not generating revenue for Customer
•Recurring Reporting, including:
oProvide monthly roaming partner and financial trending
oProvide roaming partner analysis by call type
oProvide payables/receivables information and reject information

Job Requirements:

•Bachelor’s Degree in telecommunications, IT or business-related field preferred (experience can replace the degree requirement)
•2+ years of roaming coordination experience
•Knowledge of IREG/TADIG testing methodologies & practices
•Required Interpersonal Skills

oMay travel for 1-2 weeks at a time
