JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

We seek a CBS Global IT Supervisor who will oversee a small team that maintains, integrates and implements software applications within the organization. In this role, you will coordinate individuals who conduct software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Acts as a day-to-day, key point of contact with our management, consultants and users to understand business priorities while compiling and prioritizing, enhancements and defect resolutions to applications.

  • Guide others in technical software testing and debugging of systems and software applications, as needed.

  • Oversee a small-size team performing basic to advanced and complex programming, coding and documentation of systems and applications software.

  • Supervises day-to-day activities, which include analysis of business requirements and preparation of detailed technical specifications to write applications and programs.

  • Leads or supervise the day-to-day activities related to the strategy and technical planning of system/application technology in accordance with internal and external software compliance standards.

  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

  • Other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor´s degree in one of the following: IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or related
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience in Software Development teams
  • Should have lead a team of minimum of 15 to 20 team members
  • Broad IT Leadership Experience and its principles and various computing systems, business applications and environments
  • Orchestrate technical analysis, evaluates estimates for reasonability, and effectively manages and directs automation projects within the company
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Proven experience working with a culturally diverse team
  • Ownership and accountability of establishing agile values, methods, principles and practices for the delivery of projects and products
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Works to identify relevant issues and satisfy the interests of multiple stakeholders during the decision-making process moving beyond the need for consensus.
  • Builds trust by maintaining an honest, straightforward, and humble approach with people.
  • Draws upon a wide range of diverse perspectives and talents to add value to own work and optimize performance

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Intelligent automation project related experience as RPA, chatbots or related.
  • Agile certification(s) is a plus
