As a senior member of the Talent Management leadership team, the Senior Director, Talent Management —located in Austin, TX —will partner with the head of Talent Management to lead talent strategy, planning, & execution for the enterprise with the aim of growing, & engaging a diverse global workforce to drive business performance. Reporting to the head of Talent Management, he or she will bring deep domain and operational expertise to play a transformative role leading, redefining, and building the full range of talent initiatives, programs, and teams. These include: performance management, succession planning, organizational development/effectiveness and executive coaching. Additionally, he or she will be passionate not only for creating talent management programs and teams, but also for building an enterprise-wide culture that understands the value and purpose of talent management, thereby enabling those programs & initiatives to grow and thrive across the enterprise.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do: Collaborate with key stakeholders (including Global HRBPs and executive leaders, as well as the CHRO and C-level leaders) to develop, redesign, and implement strategic talent programs, partnerships, and initiatives to drive operational excellence & business performance Provide partnership and coaching to HRBPs on talent principles, practices and processes Revamp performance management tools to ensure objectivity and linkage between individual performance and business performance Ensure the continued success of the enterprise by seeking out the next generation of leaders through implementing a process for early identification of high-potential talent, establishing development planning, mentorship programs, and creating networking opportunities Promote succession planning for critical roles and promote talent sharing cross-functionally within the enterprise Partner with HRBPs and leaders to identify high-potential and promotable talent and create development plans to retain top talent Lead global culture change initiatives to strengthen the efficacy and adoption of corporate initiatives and talent management programs Develop strong relationships and maintain alignment with executive management to understand and shape key aspects of the business Foster positive working relationships and partner with key corporate functions Provide ad-hoc strategic advisory services and guidance to company business leaders Develop and mentor team members to be future leaders within the HR organization and enterprise at-large Effectively manage resources to achieve financial budgetary targets
Here is some of what you’ll need (required): Successful track record building and developing talent management programs and initiatives and scaling them to meet the needs of a global workforce Deep technical understanding in succession planning, performance management, culture transformation, employee engagement, organization development and coaching Intensely collaborative and able to lead through influence Ability to travel at least 20% (including international) and flexibility in schedule, including weekend travel and out-of-hours meetings to accommodate a global team Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
