A Global Field Delivery Workforce Broker primary function is to fill requests for technical and professional resources required to deliver successful customer engagements. This job is supported by established processes and information to search, locate and fulfill resource requests in a timely manner. Requires ongoing interaction with sales pursuit and delivery leads to support their staffing requirements and availability. Requires ongoing interaction with Global Procurement and third party staffing suppliers. Supports a Geographic business location and may be assigned to one or more business teams to support their staffing requirements.

Additionally, Brokers may be assigned to lead Workforce Management projects aimed at improving business workflows, work effort response times or customer satisfaction.


  • Work proactively with assigned delivery leads to maintain technical resource work calendars. Review resource availability against upcoming delivery engagements.
  • Fill Resource Requests. Research skill matches globally to locate and propose resource candidates to requesting Delivery managers. If required, develop Job Postings and Work Orders to HPE Global Procurement to obtain third party supplied resources. Develop Outsource service Statement of Work requests as instructed.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to support management of scope and expectations.
  • Participate in project directed proposals, feasibility studies, implementations, and new business development.
  • Operates as a team member and as a team leader. Advise on methods to improve business processes.
  • Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
  • May lead the training of clients and peers.
  • Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills:

  • 3 or more years’ experience preferably in related customer focused support environment.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to adapt well to supporting non-traditional requests. Pocess good verbal and written communications.
