The Systems Engineer L3 is responsible for administrating and supporting client’s operating system environments according to best practices, while ensuring high levels of system availability and performance.
The Systems Engineer L3 is responsible for architecting, solutioning, automating and resolving escalated service issues, coaching other engineers to resolutions, engineering and implementing complex changes, and for maintaining and overseeing that we conduct efficient operations management.
Responsibilities Responsible for designing and defining operating runbooks Be available for other engineers and coach them to resolution Provide L3 troubleshooting escalated support issues related to datacenter operations, WAN and LAN connectivity, and security Manage queue and ticket prioritization Prepare a root cause analysis to maintain the quality & quantity of the required efforts per device according to established guidelines. Assist as needed with the delivery of new client migrations & complex projects Architect, design, deploy, maintain and lead the implementation of cloud & on premised datacenter solutions using multiple vendors Provide recommendations to improve the client’s operating environment and datacenter technologies Support sales team in solutioning opportunities through customer meetings and executive presentations Manage complex technical problems Provide monthly analytics report of team performance & capacity Overseeing the compliance of Auxis operating processes Ensure the proper execution of technical training programs for their team Maintain awareness of current and future technologies that apply to operations Make recommendation on performance improvement and automation that can improve operations
Skills and Experience
Must Haves: 6+ years working experience in related field Computer Science, Engineering, IT bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience Proven experience with large, complex Microsoft server based environments Extensive experience with Microsoft server operating systems, Active Directory (AD), Linux platforms, VMware and related technologies. English B2+ Strong knowledge of virtualization architecture and operations Advanced experience Monitoring Systems performance Advanced Knowledge in backups technologies Able to write scripts using languages such as PowerShell, VB script, BAT, etc. Experience creating documentation such as server procedures Participate in 24x7 on call support rotation Experience in supporting complex Cloud computing environments Strong knowledge of virtualization architecture and operations
Required Advanced Technical Proficiencies: ITIL Foundation certification or above Azure, AWS or GCP certified architect MCA- Microsoft Solutions Architect VCP- VMware certified professional
