The Network Engineer is responsible for administrating and supporting client’s network environments according to best practices, while ensuring high levels of network availability and performance.
The Network Engineer is responsible for architecting, solutioning, automating and resolving escalated service issues, coaching other engineers to resolutions, engineering and implementing complex changes and for maintaining and overseeing that we conduct efficient operations managements.
Responsibilities Responsible for designing and defining operating runbooks. Be available for other engineers and coach them to resolution. Provide L3 troubleshooting escalated support issues related to datacenter operations, WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security, and remote access solutions. Prepare a root cause analysis to maintain the quality & quantity of the required efforts per device according to established guidelines. Assist as needed with the delivery of new client migrations & complex projects Architect, design, deploy, maintain and lead the implementation of cloud & on premised datacenter solutions using multiple vendors Provide recommendations to improve the client’s operating environment and datacenter technologies Support sales team in solutioning opportunities through customer meetings and executive presentations Manage complex technical problems Provide monthly analytics report of team performance & capacity Overseeing the compliance of Auxis operating processes Ensure the proper execution of technical training programs for their Maintain awareness of current and future technologies that apply to operations Make recommendation on performance improvement and automation that can improve operations
Skills and Experience
Must Haves 6+ years working experience in related field Computer Science, Engineering, IT bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience English Level B2+ Knowledge in ITIL Proven experience with large, complex Microsoft server based environments Advanced knowledge of network infrastructure and network hardware. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers. Advanced knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols. Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and client-server applications. Advanced knowledge of data communications networking technologies, architectures, platforms and protocols. Advanced knowledge of network diagnostic tools. Advanced knowledge of network monitoring tools. Advanced knowledge of network, security and wireless protocols. Network diagramming skills. Cloud technologies experience.
SDWAN experience. Proven experience designing and implementing medium to large size networks. Excellent communications skills Participate in 24x7 on call support rotation
