ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for ensuring that O2C processes are executed in a timely manner, respecting the environment of controls that surround the function.

Reports to: Transactional Finance Process Manager

Geographic Scope: Local

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Period End Reporting: Lead the team through the month end, quarter end and year end process meeting all deadlines.
  • Ensure high-lever analysis of numbers, manage meetings with key stakeholders and identify additional actions whenever necessary
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on a timely basis in line with internal SLA's by supporting the team and providing guidance.
  • Actively build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders in the End Market.
  • Create competitive environment to Foster innovative ways of process improvements & enable other to perform at the best of their capabilities.
  • Identify the gaps in efficiency and effectiveness and recommend the actions.
  • Act as key liaison between PTP and OTC in order to ensure accuracy in local Financial Statements
  • Review monthly local balance sheet/P&L/Financial Package
  • Control and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all quality and control requirements, Support the internal and external audit processes.

  • Do you have experience as team leadership?
  • EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong accounting knowledge, ability to prepare Statutory and other relevant reporting.
  • In terms of language English is a must and Portuguese is nice to have!
  • Leadership for big reporting groups.
  • Compliance and controls focus
  • Problem solving.
  • Customer and quality focus.
  • Good knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of SOx Controls
  • Coordinate and complete audits Internal and External
  • Provide recommendations
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • University degree (Accounting or Finance).
  • Knowledge of statutory accounting principles for the countries within AMER is an advantage.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a multinational company / Minimum 3 years in similar position.
