    Position Summary

    The SEO Specialist is part of the team responsible of optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization. Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities. Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success. Will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

    Main Responsibilities

    Business and project needs will determine the exact nature of the tasks to be performed. Core responsibilities include:
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in organic tactics.
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
  • Develop and implement link building strategy.
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

  • Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Prior experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO.
  • Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
  • Experience with website optimization tools and other (SEMrush, Google Search Console, GTMetrix, Google Webmaster, Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ, Tag Manager...).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing skills, impeccable grammar and orthography.
  • High soft skills level in order to effective negotiation with Stakeholders involved in a project.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain group focus.

  • Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years' experience working in similar roles.

  • Education and/or experience
  • BA degree in Marketing, English, Business or Media. May be considered equivalent specializations and expertise.
  • English proficiency.
  • Bonus experience and skills include SEM and PM knowledge.
