Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining materials and stock, and communicating with customers, stakeholders, and other departments to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Documentation & System Updates

  • Updates and closes shipment orders in a timely fashion

  • Receives, distributes, and tracks daily shipments and tracks duration of how long materials are in storage

    • Shipping & Receiving

  • Maintains records of materials received and shipped; rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary and notifying appropriate stakeholders

    • Problem Solving

  • Works with customers and other departments to escalate and resolve shipping and receiving issues

    • Inventory Management

  • Maintains appropriate consumable stock levels (e.g. cable connectors, ordering materials at specified minimums)

    • Equipment

  • Manages stored and/or abandoned equipment

    • IBX Support

  • Removes/disposes of all packing material from the IBX

    • Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience

  • High School Diploma

  • Able to utilize material-handling equipment and/or forklifts

  • Able to perform all essential job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Able to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds; knows proper lifting and handling techniques
