Job Description


The IT User Experience (UX) team is looking for a Student Designer to join our agile team of UX designers and researchers who work to deliver good experience for Intel's applications and systems. The successful candidate will be doing a course of study in computer science, UX design or other related field of study.

Job Duties :

  • Apply user centered design techniques and principles to development, including rapid, iterative user interface design and design evaluation.
  • Responsible for designing information structures and navigation, task flows, and wireframes with view descriptions specifying the detailed content and behavior.
  • Specifies display texts, icons, graphics and additional custom widgets.
  • Understanding of user functionality vs. systems functionality.
  • Group user, systems functions and information into a cohesive structure.
  • May also help create or maintain re-usable pieces of code, icons or other designs for our internal design system used for Intel applications.

    • Qualifications

    You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

    Minimum

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI - Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science or related course of study
  • Basic coursework in user experience, human factors, design and/or computer science
  • Some beginning design and developer skills to include one or more of the following:HTML5, CSS3, JavaScriptAngular, React frameworksBootstrapCSQLPrototypingDesign SystemsHeuristic EvaluationPersonasUser Journey mapsStoryboarding
  • Advanced English level

    • Preferred

    One of more of the following design skills:

  • Data Visualization
  • PostgreSQL
  • Npm
  • Git
  • SSIS
  • PowerBI
  • Axure RP or Adobe XD or Microsoft Visio
  • Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
