Job Description

The Sales Operations Director will be based in Austin, TX or San Jose, CA . The Sales Operations Director will be responsible for sales operations strategy and execution along with contract management coordination within Health Solutions.

  • Align sales tools and processes with segment sales growth strategy
  • Define Sales Ops strategy and execute with dedicated team encompassing the below activities:Proposal CoordinationCustomer Proposal creation hubCollaborate with account lead and subject experts to craft compelling proposals (traditional & transformational)Commercial Solutions“What if” business case financial modellingBusiness analysis & account focused growth tools for sales teamIdentify customer targets via corporate marketing and company research tools (e.g., Cap-IQ)CRM ManagementBusiness opportunity tracking through win closure/validationReport coordination and data analysisSales EnablementCoordinating Strategic Selling Activities with global sales team (monthly / quarterly)Contract Management CoordinationEnsure customer contracts are tracked to closureUpdate and manage internal HS Contracts Share-point siteCross-Team / Segment EngagementCustomer satisfaction feedback – participant, not ownerMarket Intelligence applicationBest practice identification and implementationTeam management and resource growth forecasting
  • Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

  • University degree in engineering or business; MBA is preferred;
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in strategy, sales, project management and/or operational roles with focus communication and process creation and execution;
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are keys to position success due to matrixed organizational structure;
  • Experience in the EMS / manufacturing / business operational environment and health care market are pluses;
  • Fluency with Strategic Selling approach – Business Intelligence (applying market intelligence), Proposal management and Process creation / review / improvement are helpful;
  • Robust presentation and meeting management skills for senior management influencing and proposal reviews
