The challenge

In joining Adobe’s Americas Consumer & SMB Sales Finance organization you will have the opportunity to help drive Adobe’s strategic initiatives by partnering with the head of the Americas Consumer & SMB Sales team acting as their business & financial advisor. The position will report to the Senior Director of WW Consumer & SMB Finance to provide day-to-day financial operations and will ensure strategic annual objectives and financial targets are met in the largest market for Adobe.

It is an exciting time at Adobe as we continue to shift our desktop business to a subscription model. This position will provide you the perfect opportunity to learn and drive the growth of the subscription business in the largest revenue-generating sales organization at Adobe.

You are a well-rounded top performer with excellent data analysis and storytelling skills who will be a key contributor in a growth environment and is interested in building a career in Finance. Business partnering with senior leaders in the sales organization as well as networking with other teams across Adobe will also be critical to your success in this role. You should be able to perform deep dives into the underlying assumptions and quantitative details of all analyses, as well as make recommendations based on the insights you develop. You should also be comfortable taking an assignment from scratch and driving it to completion.


What you’ll do

  • Work with Americas Regional Leader to provide business insights and identify opportunities to accelerate business growth.
  • Partner with Area VPs, Regional Finance Leaders, and Sales Operations to develop consistent processes around forecasting, partner and sales incentives that align to our internal goals
  • Own Weekly, Quarterly and Annual Channel Revenue forecast and reporting for North America and Latin America regions
  • Model and monitor all aspects of revenue drivers to ensure a high level of predictability. Example includes units, bookings, subscription vs. perpetual, inventory, contra revenue etc.
  • Support all financial data requirements for the quarterly business review meeting
  • Lead a small team including a direct report based in San Jose, as well as, using shared resources in India
  • Present Ad hoc projects and analysis to Digital Media Leaders (GM/Staff) and CEO Staff
  • What is needed to succeed

  • Excellent communication skills and partnership skills, ability to handle multiple projects and partners
  • Proven data modeling/analytical skills
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and ability to take charge, set objectives, work toward results; team oriented
  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA or Advanced Degree Preferred
  • 10+ Years FP&A experience (software industry and/or Channel related a plus)
  • In depth knowledge/understanding of accounting and financial systems; SAP, Business Warehouse, TM1, and Tableau
