Type: Contract/ Contract to Hire
Roles & Responsibilities:
" Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
" Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
" Review code and design
" Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
" Integrate and validate new product designs
" Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
" Provide post production support
" Interface with hardware design and development
Key skills/experience:
" Should have 3 - 7 years of relevant experience in Embedded Software Development
" Solid programming experience in C, C++ and Python
" Hands-on Experience in development and troubleshooting on embedded targets like STM32, NXP IMx, Atmel, Raspberry Pi and various IDEs
" Adequate hands-on expertise in NI LabView
" Proven experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking operating systems like Linux, Embedded Linux, Real Time OS like FreeRTOS
" Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
" Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
" Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components and working closely with the hardware design team
" Must have good verbal & written communication in English.
