Perform complex multi-discipline electrical, dimensional and physical calibrations on all MicroVention measurement and process control equipment. Individuals shall develop, review and approve equipment specifications and calibration procedures based on manufacturer specifications and MicroVention’s processes requirements. Support quality assurance activities related to calibrations, metrological control and intermediate checks of the measurement and test equipment. Work with Engineers and manufacturing technicians to address various problems or doubts of quality and reliability of products and equipment. Job duties: Perform multi-discipline calibrations and complex measurement systems. Support calibration services supplier’s selection and approval process. Research calibration standards and select standards for complex/system calibration procedures based on calibration accuracy ratios, specifications and measurement uncertainty for in house calibrations. Develop, review and approve equipment specifications and calibration procedures based on manufacturer specifications and MicroVention’s processes requirements. Perform data analysis and measurement studies including but not limited to Gage R&R and calibration interval analysis. Perform and support investigations related to CAPA and Nonconformance Material systems. Support system troubleshooting on all equipment types to the board level. Support audit process. Research and answer user technical measurement questions. Solve complex calibration/measurement problems. Perform measurement uncertainty budget analysis for different equipment types. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications Technical degree in electricity, mechanics, Chemistry, electronics, industrial engineering, electromechanical or other related technical fields or equivalent combination of training and at least 5 years experience in Calibration roles required. At least 5 years experience in calibration roles. Knowledge of ISO 17025 and ANSI Z540.3 required. Experience in data analysis and report writing skills. Experience developing calibration methods on different magnitudes. Good communication skills, including with collaborators in other departments and contacts outside the company. Advanced command of English (80%). Proficiency in computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint). Desired Qualifications ASQ CCT or equivalent certification/education. Knowledge of Quality Systems, FDA regulations, ISO 13485 and applicable worldwide regulatory requirements. Prior medical device experience
