We believe when money moves, better things happen.*Better is enabled by trust and respect*In this role you will be part of International Agent Maintenance team, which plays a key role in maintaining the consistency of databases amongst Western Union’s global agencies. You will perform database maintenance tasks in AS400, and other platforms related to database maintenance, you will process assigned requests within Standard Response Times (SRTs) and according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will be required to comply with high accuracy levels, independency, pro-activeness, responsibility, sense of urgency and reliability to ensure the correct application of standard configurations, as well as security and control policies for specific agents, countries, and regions. You will detect, correct, or escalates errors or inconsistencies in already existing records in order to actively contribute towards database integrity, and provide high quality support to Regional Operations Teams and other WU departments, by properly handling their requests and addressing knowledge gapsFor such a detail-oriented role we require you to have analytical and problem-solving skills, you must be a decision maker, fluent in both written and spoken English (81% B2+). You will be confident working with AS400, WUAMS, IBIS, and AgeOne databases. You will have knowledge of database design or administration, technical support. This role requires awareness and understanding of security and control policies for specific agents, countries, and regions. We need you to be proactive, able to work under minimum supervision, multitask, efficient, and fast learner. Besides working knowledge of MS Office, you must be technically adept.
