Director, Global Recruiting
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Director of Global Recruitingto lead a team of sourcers and recruiters dedicated to supporting our Clients by growing our Band of Gorillas. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a high volume, technical recruiting organization. International experience—LATAM especially, is a bonus. This Director will be innovative, flexible, passionate, and organized. They will have in-depth experience with recruitment strategies and excel at people management and communication. If you are a curious problem-solver who delights in innovation for the sake of “better,” you could be a good fit. This position can be located in the US, Colombia, or Costa Rica.


  • Lead all recruiting efforts and act as an advocate for Recruiting, managing a team focused on high-volume Client facing roles
  • Determine proper team structure and alignment of responsibilities to ensure collective hiring goals are met
  • Create and manage a recruiting strategy that will enable Gorilla Logic to deliver on its commitments to our clients in terms of quality, reliability, and timeliness
  • Proactively manage the recruiting process and systems; conceive, document, and communicate continuous improvements; and lead the Recruiting team in delivering on the metrics and overall hiring goals
  • Ensure candidate quality for all roles as the entry point of our candidate qualification pipeline
  • Manage partnerships with third-party vendors and/or staffing agencies, and identify and vet potential partners
  • Manage partnerships with other Recruiting ecosystem vendors as needed
  • Demonstrate expertise in required role profiles in order to effectively recruit candidates and train recruiters on position needs
  • Maintain awareness of talent acquisition best practices and emerging practices, and make recommendations for improving our internal recruiting processes
  • Lead our external employer brand building and internal programs to encourage our employees to act as brand ambassadors
  • Partner with the HR team to ensure that from offer to onboarding the process is smooth and efficient, providing a consistently positive candidate-to-employee journey experience
  • Act as a key member of the company’s Leadership team, contributing subject matter expertise as needed and proactively identifying future talent needs as the Company grows
  • Act as a business partner to departmental leaders and hiring managers by establishing trust and credibility
  • Use data to inform and guide your decision making and problem solving
  • Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of in house recruiting experience, with at least 1 year of experience as a remote recruiter
  • Must have experience with high-volume technical recruiting
  • Minimum of 3 years directly managing a team of recruiters, to include training and providing performance feedback
  • Self-starter; ability to work in a fast-paced, remote startup-like environment with minimal direction
  • Knowledge of recruiting best practices and legal considerations involved in the talent acquisition and onboarding process
  • Experience with recruiting in Latin America or other international locations is strongly preferred

  • Manage the Recruiting Team: layout goals, monitor performance, develop, coach, and incubate greatness
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies and recruiting campaigns
  • Help develop, position, and present the company’s values to candidates
  • Evolve hiring metrics and KPIs, and enhance reporting
  • Roll up your sleeves and own high priority or complex job requisitions
  • Manage vendor and third-party agency relationships for seamless communications
  • Develop and implement programs and policies that continue to scale with the company’s growth
  • Work in a virtual environment and collaborate remotely with the recruiting team, your peers, and other functions within the company
