Our new innovative IT services organization is HPE Pointnext. We have the expertise to advise, integrate, and accelerate our customers’ outcomes from their digital transformation.

Within the HPE Pointnext organization in support of Advisory & Professional Services and GreenLake projects, the Solutions Operations Project Analyst role provides end-to-end value-add consultancy and project management from Presales through the Delivery phase. In this role, you will be controlling and managing the administrative aspects of projects in the areas of deal assessment; deal governance and approvals; multinational compliance; SOX compliance and order acceptance; customer invoicing; legal; tax; and operational and financial matters. You will be able to complete deal assessment activities to determine the appropriate level of consultancy and ownership on a deal by deal basis (i.e.: Standard vs. Complex). For Complex Deals, you act as an advisor and consultant with Sales, Delivery and the Business during the crafting of a project proposal and onwards through ongoing project performance. You are able to perform in a dynamic environment with the ability to make decisions when information is not clearly defined.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a focus in business or economics preferred.
  • Experience in financial or business analysis
  • Without a Bachelor’s or higher level degree, an additional 2 years’ relevant experience for a total of 6+ years
  • Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Experience with financial project management preferred, including ability to analyze contracts/formal agreements to understand and correctly set up project financials
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Superior teamwork skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
