Job Description

As a manager of a highly technical debug team, the role requires strong ability to remove roadblocks, help guide problem solving analysis, understand the technical aspects of the silicon debug challenges, drive the execution of the debug and assure that the team is focused on the right experiments to achieve effective results.

Also as a people manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.

Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Electric, Electronic, Computer or Software Engineer with at least 6 years of experience managing people teams of highly technical engineers, or Masters in Engineering or MBA with at least 4 years of experience managing people teams of highly technical engineers.
  • Knowledge of Computer Architecture and Product Development.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, stakeholder management, planning projects and resources, administrating budget and removing roadblocks for the team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage upwards and communicate effectively to high management.
  • Advanced English level written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results through others.

  • Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Silicon and/or System debug activities
  • Knowledge and/or experience in scripting and programming
  • Knowledge and/or Experience with Xeon Architecture
  • Strong Inclusive leadership skills and ability to maximize the team member's unique skills and capabilities.

  • Ability to lead teams through ambiguity and pressure in the work environment.
