You will work as part of a cross-functional team across product management, sales, marketing and engineering to ensure that our offerings are successful in a wide variety of customer engagements.You must be a technical expert, as well as have the ability to clearly articulate our technical differentiators.Since we provide 100% SaaS-based services, you will work with product management and solution architect counterparts to continually improve our products and our customers’ ability to leverage them.
Work with Volterra’s customers, partners & communities to help define end-to-end vertical-specific solutions.
Work collaboratively with Volterra Engineering, Product, SRE and Business teams.
Ability to write code & documentation to vertical-specific solutions.
Development teams and customers to define and execute company strategy.
Anticipate strengths, weaknesses of technical solutions and align with product vision.
Work cohesively across the company including heavy collaboration with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams.
An active participant in open source projects Volterra’s currently contributes to.

5+ Experience building, replicating and automating systems in Azure, GCP, and AWS
5+ Experience with VMware & KVM Hypervisors.
Experience in the deployment & operating of large front-end/back-end environments with an ideal mix of technical (product management, technical marketing or engineering) and business (consulting, product marketing) background.
Experience with cloud instrumentation and configuration management tools for deployment such as GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Datadog and Grafana
CI/CD experience (automate build and test pipelines with GitOps, Jenkins, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute strategic initiatives
Manage effectively up, down, and across an organization, including global teams
Skilled in holding people accountable, establishing high standards of excellence, and stretching their abilities to perform their best work
Outstanding written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
Masters Degree in Computer Science, EE or equivalent experience and attitude.
