About the Job

We are looking for the next superstar in mobility, premier-class restaurants, food chains, entrepreneurship, and technology communications. We will write the next chapter in the history of DiDi in Central America and the Caribbean.

We are looking for a candidate passionate about exploring new communication channels and integrating them creatively and strategically to our current PR approach.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide corporate communications expert internal advisory, developing and executing integrated plans that align communications with business goals. Keep an eye on what’s happening in society to think ahead and engage proactively.
  • Research, develop ideas and narratives that help position our brand as a thought leader. Use data to build narratives with great impact and oriented to support business goals.
  • Help develop relations with key opinion leaders and media stakeholders.
  • Be a strong team player: Collaborate with safety, government affairs, customer service, legal, and operations teams to develop communications strategies and support the business.
  • Become a trusted advisor for the leads of the operation and a mentor for the entire team.
  • Support agency management, defining clear outcomes and accountability for deliverables.
  • Create content for every relevant opportunity. Also coordinate and leverage the company resources to find new ways to create and broadcast innovative content.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Organize creative, relevant events, packed with content focused on strengthening ties between the company and its stakeholders.
  • Support the company in the expansion plans both at a national and regional level.
  • The successful applicant:
  • Bachelor degree in Communication, Public Relations, Political Sciences, Journalism, Economics or similar.
  • At least five years of experience in roles in corporate communications or public relations agencies, with emphasis on content creation, and also relevant experience managing issues, crises, and reputation management.
  • Strong relations with key opinion leaders, media stakeholders, influencers, press, and government.
  • Experience working in an environment strongly oriented to the use of data for decision making. Event coordination and media management is preferred.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated approach. We’re looking for a highly entrepreneurial profile.
  • Full-time and availability to travel and live some pretty incredible adventures in a crazy fast-growing company.
  • Able to work with different cultures and media landscapes. Strong English communications skills are MANDATORY.
