As a member of the wireless system engineering team, the candidate will participate in the research and development surrounding the advanced features in WLAN products.

The candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design the PHY layer algorithms and work with hardware design teams to implement and verify the algorithms into hardware or software designs.
  • Validate, bring up or debug for the advanced features on actual product, to make sure the system level perform is as expected.
  • Innovate, design and development of advanced technologies for next generation WLAN standards or product designs.
  • Analyze performance and simulate PHY system performance using simulation tools such as MATLAB/C++.

    • Required education, knowledge, and skills:

  • M.S.E.E. + at least 3 years of experience working in wireless communications i
  • Must understand the fundamentals of Signal Processing and Digital Communications
  • Must be fluent in MATLAB and C/C++
  • Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must have hands-on experience in the bring up and characterization of silicon
  • Must be familiar with MIMO and OFDM technologies
  • Desirable to be familiar with IEEE WLAN 802.11 standards.
  • Desirable to have scripting and automation skills
