Senior Process Analyst - Security

Location: Remote, United States

Senior Security Process Analyst supports operations of enterprise security through management of highly complex technology projects within the InfoSec portfolio. This role will require in depth knowledge of Agile and waterfall project methodologies, change management and management development/training programs. This role is expected to identify improvements to existing business processes that result in improved processing time, removal of non-value add waste, and will align team work effort to become cross functional and scalable. They will partner directly with all InfoSec team members, plus all leaders across the business, further influencing engagement and understanding of our corporate security vision and strategies. Other tasks as assigned by the Director InfoSec Portfolio and Global CISO.


  • Primarily responsible for managing complex technology projects to ensure on time delivery within scope, cost, and agreed SLAs with use of Agile and/or waterfall methodologies to continuous improve processes. Formulates recommendations that focus on performance improvement across cross functional touchpoints
  • Compiles systems and process improvement research, best practice, and analysis to derive project ideation. Manages the tracking, reporting, communication, and monitoring of assigned projects.
  • Facilitates project and process improvement sessions in order to develop process documentation/workflows outlining current and future state processes, oversee process library, create knowledge articles, and provide training to impacted business partners as needed
  • Review and analyze project process trends to ensure desired improvements and services are meeting or exceeding target project goals
  • Identify issues/risks to management team and propose mitigation, complete root cause analysis for identified process deviations, extract reports/data to provide support for any escalations
  • Creation of reports, dashboards, metrics for Information Security Management
  • Foster innovation, creativity, collaboration and maturity of the Information Security and its processes
  • Responsible for tracking and management of project lessons learned repository
  • Development of management coaching and training program, assistance with writing any InfoSec policies, procedures, or work instructions
  • Experience in fast-paced highly regulated environments such as healthcare or financial is a plus

  • Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferred Masters [in areas of Business Management, Information Technology, Organizational Behavior or Performance, etc.]
  • Minimum Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Project Management and/or Agile certification
  • Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 5-7+ years previous working experience in a project management role that reflects strong knowledge of technology
  • 2+ years in business analysis and/or process design, requirements gathering, project and process analysis, workflow analysis, and development of current and future state processes
  • Prior facilitation and training, establishment of coaching and mentoring in Agile or waterfall process improvement methodologies, use of operability and performance data to establish business metrics
  • Detailed oriented with excellent organization, presentation, critical and analytical thinking, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of various operating systems
  • Proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards, and documentation
  • Ability handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple complex projects to accomplish objectives in timely fashion
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across diverse work teams
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience with MS office suite, MS Visio, Jira/Confluence
  • Strong, verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills

    Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required.

    Work Conditions: General office environment; Remote will be considered.
