Manager, TANZU Analytics

The successful candidate will partner with key organizational stakeholders to provide scalable operational excellence that will enable the projected growth of the Modern Applications Platform Business Unit (MAP BU) business. This candidate will drive sales processes, process improvement projects, and provide critical business insight through data analysis that will help drive sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide critical business insight based on analysis of data trends and identify issues to drive business growth.
  • Develop and manage key operational dashboards and status reports.
  • Support executive report out on MAP BU operational metrics.
  • Lead performance processes and KPI measurements including forecasting, opportunity pipeline, sales compensation, etc.
  • Drive data quality, process, and automation to improve process efficiencies.
  • Act as subject matter expertise on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Act as a change agent to improve sales operational processes. Process definition, documentation, and training. Drive process enhancements with measurable results and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.

    • Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations or Finance preferably in IT environment
  • Good team management skills and experience
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with good time and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Strength in researching, understanding and succinctly explaining complex business issues and analyzing business impacts.
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Experience using SAP, Salesforce.com, Tableau, and Oracle a plus
  • Experience in an Enterprise software sales environment a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Finance or related field
