ROLE PROFILE

Responsible to support the deployment, embedding and ongoing improvement of Order to Cash operational processes, ensuring all activities within scope are operating efficiently. Also support the deployment of metrics, health checks, improvement assessment tools and skills to build actions plans and sustainable capability across the given Order to Cash scope.

Reports to: Transactional Finance Process Manager

Geographic Scope: Local

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

External Order to Cash teams in other GBS centres, Commercial teams in End Markets, external consultants and IT service providers

Supports the Continuous Improvement Lead in preparation of Focus Groups to drive improvements to the global Order to Cash area based on operational key performance indicators and value adding customer centric improvements,

  • Maintains highest organisational capability in Order to Cash by ensuring guardianship and correct application of Order to Cash functionality within the business units,
  • Minimise the divergence of working practices and activities to ensure operational efficiencies and effective accommodation of Legal, Fiscal or Regulatory differences,
  • Providing the appropriate training in the effective use of financial reporting systems & analytical information,
  • Monitors operational key performance indicators statistics to ensure continue to meet agreed standards and proactively manage the deviations on key performance indicators,
  • Ensures internal controls are adhered to and efficiently incorporated in all work instructions and task level activities across the Order to Cash scope working closed with the Business Controls Team,
  • Lead forward-looking, actionable insight delivery resulting in informing decisions with a customer centric perspective,
  • Influences operational teams and subject matter experts to provide opportunities, embed new ways of working and adhere to work instructions,
  • Identifies and actively pursues continuous improvement opportunities to increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of activities and work instructions.
  • ESSENTIAL

    Experience Required

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in Order to Cash operational processes in Shared Service environment.
  • Must have the ability to work in a network and build relationships globally and virtually and to have proven ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Must have effective communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Experience using Order to Cash in related ERP systems and applications (preferably SAP)
  • Knowledge on continuous improvement methodologies (preferable Lean Six Sigma)
  • Advanced level of knowledge on MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-started and proactive as well as strong customer service focus.
  • Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English level 100%)
