ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Financial Reporting Specialist will provide technical advice and assistance during reporting cycles, by focusing on understanding and solutioning the errors generated during the transactions processing, accounting related issues encountered during the month end activities which are impacting the quality of the reporting services, ensure quality and accurate completion of services and key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR Ownership of financial statements, planning and reports. First point of contact for internal service teams within finance. Control accurate transactional data within SAP. Ensure SLAs reflect the agreed timings for customers to receive information. Serve as a SME to other Record-to-Report colleagues. Perform analytical review of different business scenarios in specific periods (i.e. Budget vs. QPR, SPLY vs. QPR). Assist General Accounting Team Leader as needed. Participate in or lead special projects that require creative and analytical skills.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Experience required At least 3 year of experience in Planning / Commercial finance / Accounting / Finance MS Office / Excel – Intermediate Planning and Organizing: Establishes meaningful priorities; anticipates obstacles and defines alternative strategies; seeks best way to meet deadlines; uses time effectively, delegates appropriately. Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, UPS Campus Ship, and other standard office technologies). Modifies approach to reach an objective; suits style to setting/situation; resourceful in finding different approaches; open to new ideas. Demonstrates stability under stress, opposition or change; maintains performance under uncertainty.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required Desirable degree educated with professional accountancy qualification (i.e. CA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA) or in progress. BPC / BI tool - at least 1 year of experience – Desirable.
