    The Data Governance Foundation Intermediate Analyst deals with most problems independently and contributes towards solving complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Requires attention to detail when making judgements and recommendations. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/job family.

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitates and reviews policies, standards and procedures with program leads and managers
    • Analyzes, interprets and synthesizes information to develop content and design materials for presentations and other communication materials
    • Researches and communicates project or program status, including any potential risks, issues or dependencies that need escalation or change to project or program leads
    • Participates in data related initiatives such as implementation and attestations of data lineage and data modeling.
    • Participates in the designation of authoritative data sources and document the corporate data catalog.
    • Conducts analysis, makes recommendations, and completes tasks that contribute to the implementation of assigned data governance projects such as establishing and/or integrating the data governance and/or Data Risk and Controls Policies, standards and procedures including industry best practices with Data Governance leads and managers
    • Identify and analyze options for data concern remediation, and where required, implement compensating measures
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    Qualifications:

    • 2-5 years of relevant experience
    • Ability to collaborate by building partnerships and work with others to meet shared objectives
    • Flexible, team-oriented and have good interpersonal skills
    • Communicates effectively
    • Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Knowledge in data governance and analytics tool such as Collibra, Data Cataloguing and Tableau is a plus.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
