First Factory's Business Analyst offers a strong bridge between our development team in Costa Rica and our global clientele.


For this role, you'll need to possess an acute attention to detail and be able to coordinate efforts virtually with our team and multiple clients.

You will be responsible for the quality of engagement, the accuracy of requirements gathering, and the efficacy of the implementation for select clients.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Own and develop relationships with select clients
  • Gather requirements with clients and manage stakeholder feedback
  • Write requirements docs and proposals
  • Create Jira tasks, use cases, and break down Epics into smaller tasks
  • Create low fidelity, clickable wireframes
  • Estimate and manage the team's work, blockers, and velocity
  • Identify ways to improve monitoring, quality controls, and efficacy
  • Report daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly on projects
  • Work with APIs (BambooHR, QuickBooks Online, and more)
  • Proven experience in eliciting functional requirements and testing use cases
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
  • 2+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Owner
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Able to work with a distributed workforce
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Scrum Product Owner Certification is a plus
