The System Simulation and Modeling (SSM) team is part of Intel's Software and Advanced Technology (SATG) group.

We are transforming the way our product firmware and software are developed, integrated, and tested in a modern cloud computing environment.

We build high-performance system simulators that serve as the product of our future.

Great simulators result in leadership products by simulating our architecture and software before committing to our product execution.

We are looking for strong software engineers ready to engage in large-scale software development, automation, and cloud projects.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Software development and automation,

- driving initiatives and projects from design through implementation and deployment,
- system debug and support.

Exercising judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
Assess risks and identify efficient approaches to deliver high quality solutions in timely manner.

Teamwork and problem-solving in across geographies and across functional teams
Highly Proactive and strong stakeholder management skills

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors, Master's, or a Ph. D. in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related engineering field or students who are 6 months or less from graduation date will be considered.
Intermediate to Advanced English level

Preferred Qualifications:
One or more of the following skills is highly desired

Knowledge on large scale data center product architecture
Experience developing in a Continuous Integration workflow with tools such as Git and Jenkins
The ability to understand and dive into system software debug including firmware, driver, or OS.
Knowledge in product architecture's datasheets is a plus
Knowledge in Datacenter architecture and cloud technologies is a plus
Knowledge in simulation software like Simics, QEMU or Virtualizer is a plus.

Working Model:

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.

In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
