About the role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated R&D software engineer to be a part of a team that

Be a part of Boston Scientific's Rhythm Management R&D team to develop innovative products that sustain and improve the lives of patients around the world.

You will use your technical and

collaboration skills alongside your passion for innovation and continuous improvement to drive growth through efficient and effective development of new products.

Develop automated test cases using Java/Groovy and Selenium to test requirements for a Class III medical device remote monitoring system.

Your responsibilities include:

Documents software development and/or test development by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards
Tracks software development effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool.
Analyzes, evaluates, verifies requirements, software and systems by using software engineering practices.
Uses version management tool to manage test assets in a concurrent design environment.
Solve engineering problems by analyzing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions by collaborating with requirements and development teams to coordinate resolution of software errors.
Works remotely with the remote R&D team members in updating and enhancing Latitude subsystem tests.
Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/crossfunctional groups and analyzing activities to improve workflow and work processes.

Desired: JIRA, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Groovy, Spock, Geb, Appium, JavaScript, Hibernate, SQL

What We're Looking For:

25 Years of relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
03 Years of relevant work experience with Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
Proficient in Java 1.8 or higher (Must)

Experience developing frameworks to assist testing (Must):

Knowledge of Test methodologies and strategies
Experience using Continuous Integration tools like Gitlab or Jenkins (Must)

Desired Skills and Experience

Understanding of database tables to assist in creating testing data and debugging issues found in testing
Capacity to multitask several testing activities concurrently
Testing experience in a regulated environment (Class III medical devices, defense, aerospace)
Experience using Kanban or other Agile based development methodologies
Working knowledge of defect tracking systems such as JIRA
Working knowledge of Windows 10, Mac, Android and iOS operating systems
Past experience working with LATITUDE NXT remote monitoring system
Experience with Groovy, Geb, Spock
Experience with SQL
