    Engineering Manager - What You'll Do:

    As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our engineering team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership & Growth: Prioritize your direct reports' career growth, well-being, and continuous improvement. Model the values of our culture and act as a coach and mentor.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to associate level engineers, fostering an environment of learning and growth. Drive the adoption of best practices across our engineering division.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to set priorities, guide the product roadmap, and ensure your team is prepared to meet our goals. Build and maintain highly capable, motivated teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Offer hands-on technical guidance and support, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions.
  • Impact & Goals: Set clear, measurable goals for your team, aligning with company objectives to drive success and accountability.
  • The Skills, Experience, and Mindset Required:

  • Extensive experience in software engineering, with a strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Ruby on Rails and React. Familiarity with JavaScript, , and other relevant technologies is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire technical teams. Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and building cohesive and high-performing teams.
  • A track record of shipping high-quality SaaS products or services, with a deep understanding of the agile development process.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and a solid understanding of leveraging them in a SaaS environment.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment. A willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the company beyond your immediate responsibilities.
