    At Baxter, we are building an outstanding Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. We are implementing a ground-breaking program which will streamline processes, enhance systems, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen business partnerships, and improve opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.

    Your role at Baxter

    This position leads the FP&A COE Global Medication Product and Therapies (MPT) Consolidation team, maintaining significant interaction with senior leadership, the role offers direct support the President and MPT VP Finance. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Global FP&A, this role plays an instrumental part in steering Baxter's financial direction.

    This role is expected to manage the planning and reporting cadence for the Segment and provide actionable insights that will help support business leaders in informed decision-making. The job holder is the point of contact for strategic as well as business planning matters related Business Segment.

    What you'll be doing

    • Lead the Segment's financial forecasting and planning processes, establishing guidelines, templates, and timelines to ensure consistency and accuracy.
    • Use in-depth business knowledge to understand business drivers, risks, and opportunities so as to play a role as business partner in preparation of forecast, budgets, and long-range plans.
    • Innovate and standardize processes to enhance departmental productivity and forecasting accuracy through automation.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by translating insights into actionable process and guideline enhancements.

    Financial Reporting & Analysis:

    • Supervise the analysis and reporting of financial statements, explaining trends and variances to the latest forecasts / prior year for senior management.
    • Coordinate the preparation of materials for global operating reviews, ensuring comprehensive and accurate financial presentations.
    • Enable the team to support business decision-making by modeling key scenarios and performing sensitivity analyses.

    Strategic Business Support:

    • Support key strategic business initiatives, providing business partnering support, sophisticated analytics, and project management skills.
    • Evaluate and help coordinate the implementation of mitigation plans.
    • Provide strategic mentorship by demonstrating a deep understanding of key business and operational drivers, applying data-driven financial expertise, and anticipating future trends.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal clients and partners, offering insights and solutions to challenges from commercial, operational, and ground-breaking perspectives.

    • Proficient in process automation and improvement.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading, motivating, and developing diverse teams in a distributed/remote environment.
    • Strategic and decisive leadership with a track record of idea generation, developing alternatives, and driving implementation.
    • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
